On one of the Diwali occasions while the world was enjoying every bit of the festive season, Swamy was sad, home alone and dealing with depression.

Standing on his private terrace, he was viewing the zigzagler LED lights that were decorated all over the neighborhood.

The cold weather was chilling. However, he was finding it easy to brave it as there was a lot of heat inside his mind.

But at the same time, he was finding it difficult to bear the weight of his depressive thoughts.

Suddenly, his inner voice prompted… You don’t have to live this way. You can set your own intention and have the kind of life you desire. Give yourself the time you deserve and have fun. If you don’t know who to talk to or need someone in the middle of the night, talking to these sparkling lights are a great option.

“What type of thoughts have you been having? Tell me about them – we’ve got time, I’m here to listen.” …said one of the light strips. And soon a couple of other light strips followed the same script.

It was as if each of the strips was taking turn to talk with Swamy while they continued to keep moving in the square.

While it may sound unconvincing to you, Swamy did begin his conversation with them. The light strips were offering a great deal of empathy, understanding, and encouragement.

One of them said… we are LED strip lights. We guzzle less electricity to produce the same light output. You can follow our path Swamy by choosing to calm your mind to generate more energy.

The other strip said… We LEDs are rated for 50,000 hours. That’s about six years of continuous use. If we can get so productive…why not you?

One of them warned that electrical accidents can occur due to a number of factors, including: Old wiring.

Swamy! For your safety & continuity get rid of your old thoughts & rusted relationships and focus on creating a space for reflection and growth. There is nothing more impressive — intellectually or otherwise — than to change long held beliefs, opinions, and habits. The more you’ve changed, the better you probably are.

Swamy could not resist asking the LED lights “How can I find lights like you to keep me charged forever?

All of them replied in chorus… “The Purest Light is already inside you. Just enlighten others so as to remain charged”.
You cannot control what happens to you; but you certainly can control how you respond towards it.”

Swamy could not agree more. He kept repeating these words: Everything is energy. Everything is a chance to do and be your best.

While I sincerely hope that one should never been found in an isolated situation like Swamy, my equal hope is that if you find someone like him around you, be that LED light as when the Winds of Change blow, some people help to build Walls while some help to build Windmills.
